AIM

The aim of this programme is to sustain a culture of democracy in education (formal and not-formal) by providing active and future educators with necessary methodological tools and competencies in order for them to promote social inclusion, civic participation and to tackle structural disadvantages which manifest themselves and are reproduced in education.

In this framework, the programme presents existing methodologies related to education for democratic culture and prepares the educators to integrate these methods in their practice, and to develop and test their own relevant teaching methods.

The priority is to support educators now as well as in the future and to cultivate intercultural and civic competences of student teachers and teachers based on the RFCCDC (Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture) of Council of Europe (2018).

During the e-learning training, educational material is administered under the method of asynchronous education proportional to the hours of studying and the activity/quiz. The trainee enters a personal code in an educational system platform where there is a possibility of monitoring.
