Ingrid Aspelund is a senior adviser at The European Wergeland Center (EWC). Aspelund has a Master’s degree in International and Multicultural Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Oslo and Akershus University College (now Oslo Metropolitan University). She previously worked as a campaign advisor for the No Hate Speech Movement in Norway.
At EWC, Ingrid Aspelund is project manager for the programme “22 July and Democratic Citizenship”, as well as coordinating projects related to issues such as youth, prevention of hate speech, discrimination, and radicalization. She is also a trainer in Education for Democratic citizenship and Human Rights Education, addressing topics such as prevention of hate speech and teaching controversial issues.
